​Treatment Overview

• The indenture was surface cleaned with a soft hake brush and latex-free polyurethane sponges.

• Friable media on the primary side of the indenture was consolidated with a brush-applied solution of  1% gelatin in deionized water.

• Humidification was conducted using a Gore-Tex pack, and then flattened between boards in a book press for one week.
